OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football achieved a No. 3 ranking in the HERO Sports Preseason Top 25 rankings.
The Wildcats went 11-4 last season and advanced to the FCS semifinals. They have won three consecutive Big Sky Conference titles.
Senior offensive lineman Ty Whitworth was named to the Hero sports preseason All-American team.
The senior out of Temecula, Calif. has started all 42 of his career games for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats’ six -game slate commences February 27 at Holt Arena of Pocatello, Idaho against Idaho State.
