Utes’ Assistant Lacrosse Coach To Compete At Lacrosse World Championship

NETANYA, Israel-Late Wednesday, it was confirmed that Utah men’s lacrosse assistant head coach Marcus Holman will compete with Team USA at the 2018 FIL World Championships July 12-21 at Netanya, Israel.

The first match he will compete in is Thursday at 11:30 am MDT as the Americans compete against the Iroquois Nationals.

Additionally, Team USA will face Australia July 14, Canada July 15, Scotland July 16 and England July 17.

The quarterfinals are July 18, followed by the July 19 semifinals and the championship on July 21.

Holman is in his first collegiate coaching job and his sixth season playing Major League Lacrosse and is currently with the Ohio Machine.

He helped the Machine win the 2017 MLL championship and was a three-time All-American at North Carolina.
