SAN FRANCISCO-Monday, University of Utah football standouts, sophomore quarterback Cam Rising and freshman safety Kamo’i Latu were named as the Pac-12 offensive and defensive players of the week, respectively.

Rising was 22-28 for 306 yards, three touchdown passes and a rushing score, with no interceptions in the Utes’ 42-26 win over USC Saturday.

Latu, making his first career start for the Utes, posted 10 tackles and broke up a pass.
