SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, the University of Utah athletic department announced a class of seven new inductees into their 2025 Hall of Fame class. They are as follows:

2011 Morris Trophy winner (best defensive lineman in the Pac-12)
Two-time first-team All-Pac 12 performer (2011, 2012)
22.5 career tackles for a loss and 7 career sacks, five fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles.
A 2013 NFL Draft first round selection, No. 14 by the Carolina Panthers
A full-time starter for his first seven NFL seasons (Carolina, 2013-17, Buffalo, 2018-19)

Kem Gardner. A long-time significant contributor to Utah Athletics. He has set up Utah’s preeminent public policy institute, the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. With his wife, Carolyn, he has spearheaded the construction of the UofU’s largest undergraduate academic building, Carolyn and Kem Gardner Commons.

She helped lead the Utes to four consecutive NCAA Tournament berths and played a role in the Utes reaching the second round in the 2006 NCAA Tournament.
These honorees will be commemorated at the Hall of Fame Dinner Friday October 10 before the Utes’ football team hosts defending Big 12 champion Arizona State October 11 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
