EPHRAIM, Utah-Wednesday, a pair of Snow College football standouts received weekly honors from the NJCAA.
Sophomore defensive lineman Solomon Langi was named defensive player of the week and sophomore receiver Shandon King was named special teams player of the week.
Langi, a former Timpview High School star out of Provo, Utah, posted 2.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for a loss for the Badgers in last Saturday’s 56-0 win over the Utah Islanders.
King, a native of Atlanta, returned the opening kickoff last Saturday 88 yards for a score.
Langi, King, and their Snow teammates return to action Saturday by hosting Community Christian (Detroit).
