CEDAR CITY, Utah-Monday, following Southern Utah’s 27-17 win at Eastern Kentucky, Thunderbirds redshirt sophomore tailback Joshua Dye was named as the United Athletic Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week.

The native of Gilbert, Ariz. ran for 221 yards and three scores on 33 carries in the win over the Colonels, commemmorating his second 200-yard rushing game of the season.

Dye and his SUU teammates return to Eccles Coliseum Saturday for a Senior Day game against the Central Arkansas Bears to conclude the regular season for the Thunderbirds.
