SWAC Tournament Championship @ Twin Falls, Idaho

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Cooper Kesler netted 21 points and 6 rebounds on 8/14 from the floor and 5/8 behind the arc as the No. 1 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles overpowered No. 2 Snow 64-60 at the CSI Gymnasium Saturday to win the SWAC Tournament Championship. Brock McClure posted 17 points and 14 rebounds on 6/12 from the floor and 2/4 from range in defeat for the Badgers.

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho-Alli Drake homered twice and Charlie Stern and Nevaeh McClaran also homered and the North Idaho Cardinals got past Snow 11-9 Saturday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader. Brooke Fisher and Taimane Laolagi-Aloy also went yard in the loss for the Badgers.

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho-Grace Thomas and Gigi Hall each homered twice and the Snow Badgers earned a series split against North Idaho with a 9-4 win Saturday in SWAC softball play. Taimane Laloagi-Aloy recorded seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Elizabeth Hatch homered in the loss for the Cardinals.
