MOUNT VERNON, N.Y.-Jace Welsch completed 10 of 18 passes for 191 yards and a score and the Snow Badgers pummeled Monroe (N.Y.) 49-13 Saturday in non-conference football play. Matt Wilson, Seth Rigtrup, Welsch and Quezon Villa also ran for a score apiece in the win for the Badgers. Khameen Powell’s 2 receptions for 64 yards and a score led the Mustangs in the loss.

Region 1/Region 18 Challenge @ USU-Eastern Utah
PRICE, Utah-Sean Felts stepped up with 34 points on 16-18 from the field and the No. 10 Snow Badgers overpowered Arizona Western 82-68 Saturday at the Region 1/Region 18 Challenge at the Bunnell-Dmitrich Athletic Center. The Badgers shot just under 54 percent (35-65) from the floor in the win. Mario Brunetto’s 18 points on 6-12 from the floor and 3-6 behind the arc led the Matadors in the loss.

District Championship
EPHRAIM, Utah-Chayton Barron scored twice and the Cochise (Ariz.) Apaches doubled up No. 15 Snow 2-1 Sautrday in the District Championship at the Snow Soccer Complex. Quincie Knudson scored in defeat for the Badgers.

Gila Monsters Tournament @ Thatcher, Ariz.
THATCHER, Ariz.-Avery Allred netted 14 points and 8 rebounds on 7-13 from the field and the Snow Badgers dismantled Yavapai 69-32 Saturday to conclude their participation at the Gila Monsters Tournament at Thatcher, Ariz. at Eastern Arizona College. Wynter Huskie’s 12 points led the Roughriders in the loss.
