HENDERSON, Nev.-Friday, Snow College softball completed a sweep of Southern Nevada with 12-4 and 7-6 wins over the Coyotes in SWAC softball play.

In the first game, Tasia Shibuya and Kamryn Allen homered for the Badgers while Saige Ewing posted four strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Snow.

Miranda Garcia homered in the loss for the Coyotes.

In the second game, Hadlee Walker went yard for the Badgers and Kenley Henson netted three strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to secure the win in the circle for Snow.

Kenady Converse drove in two runs in defeat for the Coyotes in the second game.

Following Friday’s results, the Badgers improved to 16-7 and 5-1 in SWAC play. The Coyotes fell to 5-13 and 0-6 in conference play.

The Badgers and Coyotes meet again Saturday for a doubleheader with games at 1:00 and 3:00 pm MST.
