EPHRAIM, Utah-The Snow Badgers got back on the winning track with a softball doubleheader sweep of Colorado Northwestern, 14-4 and 18-7 Friday at the Ephraim Softball Complex in Scenic West softball play. In the first game, Deshani Purcell homered and the Snow Badgers collected 15 hits in a 14-4 rout of Colorado Northwestern. Alina Garstka had 3 RBI in the loss for the Spartans.

In the second game, Purcell again homered as the Badgers overcame a 7-0 deficit with 18 unanswered runs to win the game going away.

Gastka and Lizzy Oldfather had 2 RBI apiece in defeat for the Spartans.

Snow returns to action again Saturday with another doubleheader against Colorado Northwestern. Opening pitch is slated for 12:00 pm.
