HENDERSON, Nev.-Saturday, the Snow Badgers swept Southern Nevada 6-4 and 8-4 in SWAC softball play. In the first game, Brenley Boydston drove in a pair of runs, propelling Snow to victory. Chloe Bytheway posted a strikeout in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Camryn Hunkins, Jrew Marie Mina, Marlene Saldate and Shelbie Hoyt each drove in a run for the Coyotes in the loss.
In the second game, Reata O’Neal and Kamryn Allen each went yard for the Badgers while Kenley Henson’s 5 strikeouts in 5.1 innings secured the win in the circle for her for Snow. Hunkins homered in the loss for the Coyotes.
Following Saturday’s results, the Badgers improved to 18-6 and 7-1 in SWAC play. The Coyotes fell to 5-14 and 0-8 in conference games.
Snow returns to action Friday and Saturday at Southern Idaho as the conference season ensues for both squads.
