EPHRAIM, Utah-Thursday, Snow College men’s basketball head coach Andrew May announced the signing of Provo High School standout guard Makai Allen.

Last season, Allen averaged 21.4 points, 4.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs under head coach Cris Collinsworth, a former BYU standout from 2007-08 through 2011-12.

Allen has also spent time with the Utah Gold playing for former BYU standout Dalton Nixon (2014-15 through 2019-20 at BYU).

Allen was the 4A MaxPreps Player of the Year in the Beehive State in 2024, leading the Bulldogs to a 4A second round appearance where No. 9 Provo fell to the No. 8 Murray Spartans 69-63.
