Per Wednesday news, Snow College football has joined the Southwest Junior College Football Conference for the 2026 season.
A vacancy in the conference occurred with the departure of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M as the Golden Norsemen will join the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
The Badgers will be a provisional member of their new conference for two years during a transitional phase and will play a full-league schedule and be eligible to compete for the conference championship and a regional playoff berth immediately in the 2026 season.
The Badgers are presently 3-2 on the season with one of their losses coming to future conference member Tyler when the Apaches prevailed 26-12 at Ephraim September 4.
The Badgers will be joined in this new conference by former fellow WSFL (Western States Football League) conference foe New Mexico Military of Roswell, N.M., Blinn (Texas), Cisco (Texas), Kilgore (Texas), Navarro (Texas), Trinity Valley (Texas) and aforementioned Tyler (Texas).
The No. 13 Badgers will host No. 2 Iowa Western for the annual Homecoming game this Saturday.
