HENDERSON, Nev.-Issac Finlinson posted 22 points and 8 rebounds on 9-16 from the field and 2-4 from range as the Snow Badgers broke a 3-game losing streak with an 80-66 win over Southern Nevada Thursday in SWAC men’s basketball play. Jhadon Banks had 25 points and 7 rebounds on 10-15 from the field in the loss for the Coyotes. Snow improved to 21-6 and 6-5 in SWAC play on the season in victory. The Coyotes fell to 3-20 and 1-10 in SWAC play in defeat. Snow concludes the regular season Thursday at Salt Lake Community College.

Women’s Basketball

HENDERSON, Nev.-Jordyn Stroud netted 22 points and 11 rebounds on 9-17 from the field and the Southern Nevada Coyotes got past Snow 70-66 in SWAC women’s basketball play Thursday. Maliyah Elliott had 16 points on 7-14 from the field in defeat for the Badgers. Southern Nevada improved to 22-4 and 5-4 in SWAC play in victory while Snow fell to 12-14 and 1-8 in conference games in the loss.
