EPHRAIM, Utah-Dante Sawyer posted 19 points and 5 rebounds and North Idaho upset No. 20 Snow 74-69 Thursday in SWAC men’s basketball play at the Horne Activity Center. Vaughn Weems added 18 points on 8-11 from the field in victory for the Cardinals who improved to 20-6 and 6-2 in SWAC play. Dylan Jones netted 20 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Badgers. Snow fell to 20-5 and 5-4 in SWAC play. The Badgers return to action Saturday by hosting Southern Idaho.

Women’s Basketball

SWAC

EPHRAIM, Utah-Addie Kiefer and Kendall Pickford had 15 points apiece and North Idaho edged Snow 71-68 in SWAC women’s basketball play Thursday at the Horne Activity Center. Enid Vaifanua led the Badgers in defeat with a game-high 19 points. The Cardinals improved to 8-14 and 1-6 in SWAC play. The Badgers fell to 12-12 and 2-6 in SWAC play. Snow next hosts No. 15 Southern Idaho Saturday.
