(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Bees scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning as they fell to the River Cats 12-11 in Salt Lake City.
The Bees fell short of a rally despite giving up 10 runs in the first two innings. Starter Jason Alexander gave up 11 hits and 10 runs over one-plus innings.
The Bees and River Cats play a doubleheader today at Smith’s Ballpark.
