TACOMA, Wash.-Erick Mejia had the game-winning RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 12th Inning as the Tacoma Rainiers outlasted Salt Lake 6-5 Wednesday at Cheney Stadium.
Nick Ramirez earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers by posting a strikeout in two innings of work.
Chad Wallach, Magneuris Sierra, Jake Gatewood and Michael Stefanic each drove in a run for the Bees in the loss.
Salt Lake saw its 3-game winning streak snapped as the Bees fell to 35-39. The Rainiers improved to 29-44 on the season in victory.
The Bees and Rainiers meet again Thursday at 8:05 pm at Cheney Stadium.
