DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits downed Manti 3-0 in Region 14 volleyball action Tuesday at the Palladium. The Rabbits prevailed 26-24, 25-23, 25-13 for the straight sets victory.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks dismantled Union 3-1 in Region 14 volleyball play Tuesday.
Region 16
COALVILLE, Utah-Hartlyn Richins posted 12 kills and the North Summit Braves stymied Millard 3-1 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. The Braves bested the Eagles 18-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-11.
Region 19
MONROE, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys outlasted South Sevier 3-2 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball play. Kanab prevailed 25-20, 23-25, 12-25, 25-16, 15-6 to take the victory over the Rams.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Beverly Lancaster scored a pair of goals and the Carbon Dinos doubled up Richfield 4-2 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Mylee Jensen and Abigail Evensen each scored in the loss for the Wildcats.
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-Morgan Chidester and Janessa Bridges each scored and the Manti Templars doubled up Delta 2-1 in Region 14 girls soccer play Tuesday. Caitlin Allred scored in the loss for the Rabbits.
NEPHI, Utah-Addison Hyatt, Eden Hall and Mialee Curtis all found the net and the Juab Wasps waxed North Sanpete 3-1 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer play. Tori Day scored in defeat for the Hawks.
2A South
MONROE, Utah-Taylor Gibson posted four goals and the South Sevier Rams pounded San Juan 9-0 in 2A South girls soccer play Tuesday. Sophie Brown (2 goals) and Sydnee Patterson, Holly Butler and Kailee Brown also scored in victory for the Rams. Elisa Ortiz recorded the shutout for the Rams in victory.
BEAVER, Utah-Kara Camp amassed a hat trick and the Millard Eagles routed Beaver 8-0 Tuesday in 2A South girls soccer play. Kailey Thurman and Emma Stephenson added a pair of goals apiece for Millard and Devin Roper added another goal for the Eagles. Camdyn Gamble posted the shutout in victory for Millard.
