DELTA, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks overpowered Delta 3-1 in Region 14 volleyball play Tuesday at the Palladium. The Hawks gashed the Rabbits 22-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-20.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Union Cougars waxed Juab 3-1 Tuesday in Region 14 volleyball play. The Cougars overpowered the Wasps 25-21, 25-27, 25-13, 25-13.
Region 16
DUCHESNE, Utah-The Duchesne Eagles gashed Gunnison Valley 3-0 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. The Eagles stonewalled the Bulldogs 25-11, 27-25, 25-11 to earn the straight sets victory.
Region 19
BEAVER, Utah-The South Sevier Rams stymied Beaver 3-0 in Region 19 volleyball play Tuesday. The Rams prevailed 25-17, 25-23, 25-15 to record the straight sets victory. Talia Alisa posted eight kills in the loss for the Beavers.
PAROWAN, Utah-The Parowan Rams overpowered the No. 20 team in Utah, Kanab, 3-1 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball play. The Rams bested the Lady Cowboys 26-24, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20 to record the victory. The Rams are now 8-0 on the season.
Non-Region
MILFORD, Utah-The Millard Eagles blanked Milford 3-0 Tuesday in non-region volleyball action. The Eagles downed the Tigers 25-17, 25-16, 25-10 for the straight sets victory. Whytney Stoddard’s four kills led the Tigers in defeat.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-The ALA Eagles humbled Wasatch Academy 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Tuesday. The Eagles downed the Tigers 25-19, 25-10, 25-17 to obtain the straight sets victory.
Girls Soccer
Region 14
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Alivya Osborn scored a pair of goals and the Manti Templars outlasted North Sanpete 4-3 in Region 14 girls soccer play Tuesday. Brooklyn Olson and Morgan Chidester also found the net in victory for Manti. Adelay Stavros scored twice and Jessica Applegarth added another goal in defeat for the Hawks.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Kiara Lowe scored twice and the Juab Wasps bested Union 3-1 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer play. Eden Hall also scored in the win for Juab.
2A South
PAROWAN, Utah-Kara Camp amassed a hat trick and the Millard Eagles edged Parowan 4-3 in 2A South girls soccer action Tuesday. Devin Roper added another goal in victory for the Eagles.
BEAVER, Utah-Alina Lurth netted four goals and the Beaver Beavers pummeled San Juan 9-1 Tuesday in 2A South girls soccer play. Heidi Harris added two more goals in victory for the Beavers. Abigail Cox, Elizabeth Robinson and Timmery LeBaron also scored in the win for Beaver.
