JUNCTION, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds surged past Escalante 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. The T-Birds prevailed 25-23, 25-16, 25-20 over the Moquis.

MILFORD, Utah-Jaleana Tsosie had nine kills and four aces as the Milford Tigers stormed past Wayne 3-0 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball action. The Tigers downed the Badgers 25-17, 25-13, 25-19 to prevail in the straight sets victory. Paige James recorded 22 assists in the win for the Tigers.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats topped Valley 3-1 in Region 20 volleyball action Wednesday. The Bobcats won 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22.

Non-Region

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Angie Georgopoulou posted 14 kills and the Snow Canyon Warriors swept Richfield 3-0 Wednesday in non-region volleyball action. The Warriors prevailed 25-21, 26-24 and 28-26 to outlast the Wildcats in the sweep.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-The Emery Spartans downed North Sevier 3-1 in non-region volleyball play Wednesday. The Spartans prevailed 25-17, 24-26, 25-16, 25-18 to down the Wolves.
