ST. GEORGE, Utah-Levi Shaw completed 20 of 32 passes for 414 yards, 6 touchdowns and an interception and Corbin Yocham recorded 272 yards, two scoring receptions and a rushing score as the Pine View Panthers outgunned Manti 51-45 Friday in non-region football play at Panther Stadium. The squads combined for 95 net points and 1,152 net yards of offense (Manti, 593; Pine View, 559) in a game that featured an hour and 52 minute lightning delay and an intermittent blackout in the 4th Quarter when the stadium lights went out. In defeat, Carter Mason (26-34, 441 yards, 4 TD’s/INT) and Stone Mortensen (11 rec, 219 yards, 3 TD’s) paced the Templars.

NEPHI, Utah-Price Armstrong threw three touchdown passes and the Juab Wasps pounded Delta 40-0 in non-region football play Friday. Brock Richards ran for three more scores in the win for Juab.

RANDOLPH, Utah-Aiden Weston and Jett Holmes each threw a touchdown pass and the Rich Rebels overpowered Gunnison Valley 27-14 Friday in non-region football play. Chase Maples had a 40-yard touchdown run and returned an interception for another score in the loss for the Bulldogs.

MILFORD, Utah-Boston Sullivan scored five touchdowns and the Milford Tigers clobbered Panguitch 95-20 in non-region football play Friday. Carson Cheney and Kyzler Merryweather added two more touchdowns apiece in the rout for Milford. Kole Fullmer ran for two scores and added an 80-yard kickoff return for another score in defeat for the Bobcats.

MURRAY, Utah-Maddox Madsen, Chaetton Osborne and Ayden Akee ran for two scores apiece as the North Sanpete Hawks drilled Cottonwood 45-7 Friday in non-region football play. Rafael Contreras made a 35-yard field goal as well in victory for the Hawks. Gage Cooper threw an 84-yard touchdown pass to Ethan Yazzie in the loss for the Colts.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Trey Yardley and Colton White each ran for scores and the Richfield Flyers bested Dixie 24-14 Friday in non-region football play. Deacon Virgin threw two touchdown passes in the loss for the Flyers.

SALINA, Utah-Brayden Williams ran for a score and caught a touchdown pass and the North Sevier Wolves decimated Grand 48-0 Friday in non-region football play.

BEAVER, Utah-Jex Bradshaw, Bridger Blackner, Dawson Orton and Davin Orton each ran for scores and the Beaver Beavers hammered Moapa Valley (Nev.) 37-6 Friday in non-region football play. Dub Pender returned an interception 35 yards for a score for the Beavers as well in victory.

Rural Utah Preview

EPHRAIM, Utah-Brogun Virostko threw two touchdown passes and the Kanab Cowboys lassoed Emery 45-20 Friday at the Rural Utah Football Preview at Snow College. Beau Stilson and Mikel Ilijic ran for scores in the loss for the Spartans.

Baseball

1A South

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Camden Englestead drove in two runs and the Panguitch Bobcats waxed Valley 3-1 in 1A South baseball play Friday. Quade Veater netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Hogan Harris drove in a run in defeat for the Buffalos.

Non-Region

Payson Harris drove in two runs and the Valley Buffalos blanked American Heritage 10-0 Friday in non-region baseball play. Harris netted three strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Valley.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Traiger Ramsey drove in three runs and the Panguitch Bobcats routed American Heritage 17-1 in non-region baseball play Friday. Hudson Burningham recorded six strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats.

Antonio Moreno drove in two runs and the Bryce Valley Mustangs waxed Altamont 6-2 Friday in non-region baseball play. Moreno’s 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Mustangs.
