OGDEN, Utah-Preston Higgins drove in three runs and the No. 5 Canyon View Falcons routed No. 4 Manti 18-7 in 3A one-loss bracket play at Lindquist Field Wednesday. Jaxon Black netted a strikeout in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Falcons. Zach Blackham, Durke Larsen, Spencer Robbins and Boston Hatch drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Templars. Canyon View next faces No. 1 Union Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field.

OGDEN, Utah-Jaxxon Jensen homered and the No. 2 Grantsville Cowboys smacked No. 11 Carbon 10-6 to win Bracket 2 Wednesday at Lindquist Field. Colt Thomas posted a strikeout in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Grantsville. Maddux Willson drove in two runs in the loss for the Dinos.
One-Loss Bracket
OGDEN, Utah-Jackson Bosone and Logan Bennett homered and the No. 11 Carbon Dinos doubled up No. 14 Logan 26-13 Wednesday in 3A bracket play at Lindquist Field. Maddux Willson netted four strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Dinos. Kai Olsen drove in two runs in defeat for the Grizzlies. Carbon next faces No. 2 Grantsville Wednesday at 4:30 pm in 3A bracket play at Lindquist Field.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hayden Bytheway homered and the No. 1 Grantsville Cowboys lassoed No. 3 Union 11-1 at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex Wednesday. Bytheway posted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Cowboys. Haylee Moynier drove in a run in defeat for the Cougars. Grantsville next advances to the 3A state championship bracket Thursday at 11:00 am at Gail Miller Field on the campus of Brigham Young University. The Cougars next play at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the one-loss bracket against No. 2 North Sanpete. The winner advances to play Grantsville.
One-Loss Bracket
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Makinley Burnside homered and the No. 2 North Sanpete Hawks routed No. 3 Union 15-0 Wednesday in the 3A one-loss bracket at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Kaecee Johnson posted two strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Hawks. North Sanpete next faces No. 1 Grantsville Thursday at 11:00 am at Gail Miller Field on the campus of Brigham Young University in the state championship bracket. If the Hawks win that game, they force a de facto state championship game against the Cowboys Thursday at 1:30 pm.
