Region 15

BLANDING, Utah-Corbin Palmer and Davis Mendoza each tripled but it wasn’t enough as the Manti Templars outlasted San Juan 9-6 Monday in the first game of a Region 15 doubleheader.

BLANDING, Utah-Trez Perkins tripled, leading the San Juan Broncos to a Region 15 doubleheader split with Manti Monday, prevailing 14-2. Corbin Palmer earned the win on the mound for San Juan.

Non-Region

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Jackson Thorne homered and tripled as the Summit Academy Bears routed North Sanpete 12-1 Monday in non-region baseball action. Jaret Dalrymple earned the win on the mound for the Bears.

Softball

2-A Central

GUNNISON, Utah-Maddie Edwards went yard and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs pounded Piute 12-2 in 2-A Central softball action Monday. Paige King and Tayler Brackett added doubles for the Bulldogs in the win. Halle Bjerregaard earned the win in the circle for Gunnison Valley.

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-Jaci Shumway, Jessica Jones and Lexi Carrol all homered as the Grand Red Devils won game one of a Region 15 softball doubleheader over North Sanpete with a 16-6 win Monday. Shumway also added the win in the circle for Grand. Kelby Henry homered and Addelyn Brotherson doubled in the loss for North Sanpete.

MOAB, Utah-Aubree Ison hit a walk off 3-run home run, Addelyn Brotherson homered and doubled, and Ellie Gillins also homered for the North Sanpete Hawks in a 7-6 win over Grand Monday in the second game of a Region 15 softball doubleheader. Gillins also earned the win in the circle for the Hawks. Hannah Owen and Paige Shumway each went yard for the Red Devils in defeat.

Boys Soccer

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-Kane Scherer and Nolan Ramirez each scored twice as the Grand Red Devils routed North Sanpete 5-0 Monday in Region 15 boys soccer action.
