Region 14
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Kayson Marx drove in three runs and the Union Cougars routed North Sanpete 13-3 Friday in the first game of a Region 14 baseball doubleheader. Brady Mecham earned the win on the mound for the Cougars, posting nine strikeouts in five innings of work.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Kasen Huff drove in a run and the Union Cougars doubled up North Sanpete 2-1 Friday, completing a Region 14 baseball doubleheader sweep of the Hawks. Huff earned the win on the mound for the Cougars, posting five strikeouts in seven innings of work. Hunter Price drove in a run for the Hawks in the loss.
NEPHI, Utah-The Juab Wasps routed Manti 15-3 in the first game of a Region 14 baseball doubleheader Friday.

FILLMORE, Utah-Griffen Bone drove in three runs and Kanab exploded for 14 runs in the 6th Inning to vanquish Millard 20-7 in 2A West baseball play. Bracken McQuivey posted seven strikeouts in four innings of work for the Cowboys, who conclude the regular season at 13-10. McQuivey and Maddix Baird also drove in three runs apiece in the rout for Kanab.
PAROWAN, Utah-Treven Yardley homered and the Parowan Rams routed Milford 11-1 in 2A West baseball play Friday. Yardley also earned the win on the mound for the Rams, posting a strikeout in five innings of work.
2A East
GUNNISON, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs pummeled North Summit 15-0 in the first game of a 2A East baseball doubleheader Friday.

MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams hammered North Sevier 18-0 Friday in 2A East baseball play.

Region 12
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jayda Gleave drove in a pair of runs and the Canyon View Falcons routed Richfield 7-1 Friday in Region 12 softball play. Rylee O’Neal posted three strikeouts in as many innings of work in victory for the Falcons. Emjay Rollins drove in a run for the Wildcats in defeat.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Baylee Ulibarri posted 4 RBI and the Juab Wasps hammered Delta 15-0 in Region 14 softball play Friday. Kyla Winter posted seven strikeouts in four innings of work to secure the win in the circle for the Wasps.
MANTI, Utah-Rylee Jarvis homered and the Manti Templars blanked Union 15-0 Friday in Region 14 softball play. Tiffany Hermansen earned the win in the circle for the Templars, posting five strikeouts in four innings of work.
2A South
FILLMORE, Utah-Mersadez Bowers drove in four runs and the Millard Eagles pounded Kanab 17-5 in 2A South softball play Friday. Shaylee Burraston posted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to record the win in the circle for the Eagles. Kati Riddle had 2 RBI in defeat for the Lady Cowboys.

2A Playoffs 1st Round
SALINA, Utah-The No. 15 North Sevier Wolves blanked No. 18 South Sevier 2-0 in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs Friday. The Wolves next visit No. 2 Gunnison Valley Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
BEAVER, Utah-The No. 11 Beaver Beavers downed No. 22 San Juan 4-0 Friday in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs. The Beavers next visit No. 6 Waterford in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
PAROWAN, Utah-The No. 10 Parowan Rams pulverized No. 23 North Summit 9-0 Friday in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs. Parowan next visits No. 7 Millard Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-No. 12 Wasatch Academy routed No. 21 Telos 13-4 in the 1st round of the 2A playoffs Friday. The Tigers move on to play No. 5 Draper APA on Wednesday.
3A Playoffs 1st Round
MOAB, Utah-The No. 21 Richfield Wildcats upset No. 12 Grand County 5-3 in a shootout after the two teams finished double overtime tied at 2 in the 1st round of the 3A Playoffs Friday. The Wildcats move on to play at No. 5 Judge Memorial Wednesday at 4 PM.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-The No. 14 Grantsville Cowboys shutout No. 19 North Sanpete 4-0 Friday in the 1st round of the 3A Playoffs Friday. Grantsville moves on to play No. 3 Juab on Wednesday.
DELTA, Utah-The No. 20 American Leadership Academy Eagles upset No. 13 Delta 2-1 Friday in the 1st round of the 3A Playoffs Friday. ALA moves on to play No. 4 Ogden on Wednesday.
