NEPHI, Utah-Porter Bowles netted the sole RBI of the game and the Juab Wasps blanked Delta 1-0 Wednesday in the first game of a Region 14 doubleheader. Bowles also earned the win on the mound for the Wasps, posting nine strikeouts in seven innings of work.
NEPHI, Utah-Wyatt Payton drove in a run and Juab completed a Region 14 doubleheader sweep of Delta with a 2-0 victory Wednesday at Juab High School. Cael Smith posted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps.
Non-Region
BEAVER, Utah-Koa Sylvester and Ryder Parliament each drove in three runs and the Summit Academy Bears routed Beaver 16-1 in non-region baseball play Wednesday. Parliament also earned the win on the mound for the Bears.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Jaron Ross drove in a pair of runs and the Richfield Wildcats scored seven unanswered runs to surge past Class 4A Hurricane 9-5 Wednesday in non-region baseball action. Jacob Thalman earned the win on the mound for the Wildcats. Josh Wright had 2 RBI in defeat for the Tigers.
Softball
2A South
MILFORD, Utah-Kadee Harland homered and the Panguitch Bobcats downed Milford 17-11 in 2A South softball play Wednesday. Kenli Hatch earned the win in the circle for the Bobcats. Kloee Dotson and Allie Monroe each drove in a pair of runs for the Tigers in defeat.
2A Central
SALINA, Utah-Jaelee Farnsworth and Grace Davis each homered and the Duchesne Eagles pounded North Sevier 19-0 in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader Wednesday. Kelsey Grant earned the win in the circle for the Eagles.
SALINA, Utah-Lexie Morlan went yard and the Duchesne Eagles earned a 2A Central softball doubleheader sweep of North Sevier Wednesday with a 17-2 victory at North Sevier High School. Grant recorded another win in the circle in victory for Duchesne.
BICKNELL, Utah-Hadlee Taylor homered and the Wayne Badgers clobbered North Summit 14-1 Wednesday in 2A Central softball play. Ali Rees recorded the win in the circle for the Badgers.
Boys Soccer
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Ryker Richards netted a pair of goals and the Juab Wasps blanked Union 7-0 Wednesday in Region 14 boys soccer play. Zach Saez, Bridger Richards, Damian Reyes, Jake Peterson and Gage Olsen also scored in victory for Juab. Wyatt Cunningham recorded the shutout for the Wasps.
DELTA, Utah-The Manti Templars doubled up Delta 2-1 Wednesday in Region 14 boys soccer play Wednesday.
2A Central
LINDON, Utah-Caleb Johnson scored four goals and the Maeser Prep Lions routed Wasatch Academy 7-1 Wednesday in 2A Central boys soccer action. The Lions improved to 7-0 on the season with the victory.
