WASHINGTON CITY, Utah-Connor Karren drove in a run and Kyson Giles recorded 10 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound as the Duchesne Eagles blanked Kanab 2-0 Saturday at the Red, White and Blue Tournament at Crimson Cliffs High School.

WASHINGTON CITY, Utah-Lane Sims and Kale Glover drove in two runs apiece and the Kanab Cowboys had a successful conclusion to their participation in the Red White and Blue Tournament with a 7-5 win over Pine View’s JV Saturday at Crimson Cliffs High School. ST. GEORGE, Utah-Connor Cowan homered and posted 10 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound as the Juab Wasps routed Class 5A Cedar Valley 10-0 Saturday at the Ence Homes Desert Hills Classic at Desert Hills High School. Derek Jennings drove in two more runs for the Wasps, while Jimmy Larson, Kanyon Mattinson, Garrett Hofer, Luke Marostica and Kai Hansen also drove in a run for Juab in victory.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kobe Goodman homered and the Desert Hills Thunder routed Juab 18-0 at the Ence Homes Desert Hills Classic at Desert Hills High School. Andy Niley posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Thunder.
