Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Reggie Hafen drove in five runs and the Richfield Wildcats routed Delta 15-5 Wednesday in Region 12 baseball play. Jess Curtis added three more RBI for the Wildcats while Fisher Jenson and Griffin Wayman drove in an additional two runs apiece for Richfield. Slate Reitz also drove in a run for Richfield in the win. Hayden Reed had three strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wildcats. Dylan Larsen drove in two runs for Delta and Dax Bliss and Kyler Davies added an additional RBI apiece for the Rabbits in the loss.
Softball
Region 12
MANTI, Utah-Carlie Thompson, Mara Thompson and Khloe Layton drove in three runs apiece and the Manti Templars pounded Delta 19-0 in Region 12 softball play Wednesday. Raubie Johnson and Danielle Alder had two more RBI apiece for the Templars. Hannah Daniels added another RBI in victory for Manti.
Non-Region
HEBER CITY, Utah-Reagan Price and McKenna Olney drove in four runs apiece and the Wasatch Wasps routed Gunnison Valley 19-7 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Hallie McNaughtan added two more RBI in victory for the Wasps. Mali Evans, Brylee Smith, Liana Jones, Berlyn Brown, Payton Brown and Afton Rutter contributed an additional RBI apiece in the win for Wasatch. McNaughten posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wasps. Maggie Bartholomew drove in two runs and Maile Ha’o, Atly Coates and Shae King each drove in a run for the Bulldogs in the loss.
Boys Soccer
Region 12
NEPHI, Utah-Logan McEvoy scored a pair of goals and the Carbon Dinos drilled Juab 5-1 in Region 12 boys soccer play Wednesday. Gage Olsen scored in the loss for the Wasps.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Wyatt Zimmer and Brett Langston each scored as the Canyon View Falcons doubled up North Sanpete 2-1 Wednesday in Region 12 boys soccer play.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Delta Rabbits outlasted Richfield 3-2 on penalty kicks in extra time in Region 12 boys soccer play Wednesday. Brody Cleaver recorded the shutout in regulation time for the Rabbits.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Kyle Steinfeldt scored twice and the Manti Templars pummeled Emery 5-0 Wednesday in Region 12 boys soccer play. Luis Ornelas, Rhett Olson and Corbin Henry also found the net in victory for the Templars. David Peterson and Branson Cherry combined on the shutout for Manti.
