2-A Semifinals at SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Tyler Hiatt posted 13 points as the Enterprise Wolves downed Beaver 47-42 in the 2-A state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Ky Brown’s 15 points and 5 rebounds led the Beavers in defeat. Beaver plays for 3rd-4th place Wednesday at 2:30 pm. Enterprise advances to play in the 2-A state championship game Wednesday at 6:45 pm against Layton Christian.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Jerheim Elder posted 16 points and 6 rebounds on 5-6 from the field as the Layton Christian Eagles outlasted Parowan 50-46 in the 2-A state semifinals Tuesday at the Sevier Valley Center. To seal the deal, the Eagles made eight consecutive free throws down the stretch to repel a spirited Rams surge. Krue Stubbs had a game-high 18 points in defeat for the Rams.
2-A Consolation Bracket at SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Treyson Pace led the way with 23 points and 8 rebounds as the North Summit Braves lived to play another day by eliminating Gunnison Valley with a 49-43 win over the Bulldogs Tuesday in the 2-A boys consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Creed Mogle had 16 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for Gunnison Valley. North Summit next plays for 5th-6th place Wednesday at 11:30 am against Draper APA.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Logan Baldwin posted 15 points and 5 assists as the Draper APA Eagles waxed Monticello 66-47 Tuesday at the Sevier Valley Center in the 2-A boys consolation bracket. Cedar English netted 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in defeat for the Buckaroos.

2-A Semifinals
RICHFIELD, Utah-Anna Cutler posted 16 points and 5 rebounds, while Grayce Glover added 14 points and 5 rebounds for Kanab in a 50-45 win over Layton Christian in the 2-A semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center Tuesday. Celine Keza had 12 points in defeat for the Eagles, who, were vanquished by No. 4 Kanab as the No. 1 seed. Kanab next competes in the 2-A state championship game Wednesday at 4:30 pm against North Summit.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Brynlee Richins posted 22 points and 13 rebounds on 10-18 from the field as the North Summit Braves downed Millard 53-45 Tuesday in the 2-A semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Eliza Swallow had 12 points and 11 rebounds on 6-11 in defeat for the Eagles. Millard will play for 3rd-4th place against Layton Christian Wednesday at 1:00 pm.
2-A Consolation Bracket at SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Noah Moyle posted 16 points and 12 rebounds on 8-12 from the field as the Enterprise Wolves routed Wasatch Academy 50-33 Tuesday in the 2-A consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Nataly Dunka had 22 points in defeat for the Tigers. The Wolves advance to play in the 5th-6th place game Wednesday at 10:00 am against Beaver.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kenzlee Carter had 13 points on 4-8 from the field as Beaver outlasted Duchesne 41-39 Tuesday in the 2-A consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Oakley Butler had 11 points for the Eagles in defeat.
