HEBER CITY, Utah-Emma Jones amassed 21 points and shot 5-6 from behind the arc as the Richfield Wildcats shellacked American Leadership Academy 72-22 Friday at Wasatch High School in the 3-A play-in game. Jones shot 7-9 on all shots for the game and the Wildcats shot a torrid 56.3 percent for the game in earning the easy win. Jessica Henstra and Bekah Carroll had 7 points apiece in the loss for the Eagles.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Morgan Cragun posted 10 points and 5 rebounds on 4-6 shooting as the Morgan Trojans dismantled Delta 52-39 at Wasatch High School Friday in the 3-A play-in game. The Trojans next face Richfield Thursday at 9:10 pm at Dixie State University in the state quarterfinals. Brinley Henrie had a game-high 11 points in the loss for the Rabbits.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Miyalla Tarver posted 23 points and 7 rebounds as Judge waxed San Juan 56-39 in the 3-A play-in game at Wasatch High School Friday. Delaney Palmer had 14 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for the Broncos.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Hannah Robins posted 14 points on 5-9 shooting and the Juab Wasps doubled up Grand 44-22 Friday in the 3-A play-in game at Wasatch High School. Bayli Heap added 12 points and 6 rebounds on 6-8 shooting for the Wasps who will next face Judge Thursday at 7:30 pm in the 3-A state quarterfinals at Dixie State University. Annabelle Garrett had 7 points in defeat for the Red Devils.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Ashlee Edwards posted 11 points and 7 rebounds and Grantsville routed Manti 58-30 in the 3-A play-in game at Wasatch High School Friday. Aurionna Squire had a game-high 12 points in the loss for the Templars.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Brookell Brindley posted 12 points and the South Sevier Rams used a 10-2 4th Quarter surge to overpower the Union Cougars 46-40 Friday in the 3-A play-in game at Wasatch High School. Kennedy Ross had 9 points in the loss for the Cougars. The Rams next face Grantsville Thursday at 5:50 pm in the state quarterfinals at Dixie State University’s Burns Arena.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Megan Jensen made 11 of her 14 field goal attempts and posted 25 points and 11 rebounds as the Emery Spartans pounded Providence Hall 86-24 in the 3-A play-in game at Wasatch High School Friday. In this dominant performance, four Spartans, including Jensen, had 12 points or more. Isabel Page had 9 points in the loss for the Patriots.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Abbie Saccomanno had 16 points and the Carbon Dinos got past Summit Academy 52-36 Friday in the nightcap of the 3-A girls play-in games at Wasatch High School. Micah Gustafson had 16 points and 15 rebounds on 6-11 shooting in the loss for the Bears.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Sydnee Gillins and Tierra Goff had 10 points apiece as the Beaver Beavers routed APA Draper 66-10 in the 2-A girls’ play-in game at Desert Hills High School Friday. Beaver next faces Altamont Thursday at 9:10 pm in the 2-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Emanuely De Oliviera’s 19 points led the way as the Wasatch Academy Tigers downed North Sevier 45-37 Friday in the 2-A girls’ play-in game at Desert Hills High School. Mayci Torgerson paced the Wolves in defeat with 17 points. Wasatch Academy next faces Kanab Thursday at 5:50 pm at the Sevier Valley Center in the 2-A state quarterfinals.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Brinley Cornell stepped up with 9 points as Kanab got past Duchesne 43-39 in the 2-A girls’ play-in game at Desert Hills High School Friday. Jayde Moon had 11 points in the loss for the Eagles.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kynlee Penney’s 14 points led the way as the Millard Eagles routed St. Joseph 61-23 at Desert Hills High School Friday in the 2-A girls’ play-in game. Millard next faces Layton Christian Thursday at 4:10 pm in the state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
