Central Utah Preview
RICHFIELD, Utah-Krue Stubbs netted 12 points and 9 rebounds as the Parowan Rams gashed North Sevier 51-42 at the Sevier Valley Center during the Central Utah Preview Saturday. Marshall Okerlund had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for the Wolves, who fell to 4-2 on the season. The Rams improved to 3-0 with the win in this nightcap game of the preview.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Joshua Thalma posted 25 points and 12 rebounds on 10-15 from the field, including a dunk, as the Richfield Wildcats pummeled Delta 57-32 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center during the Central Utah Preview. The Wildcats improved to 3-2 with the win. Derek Smith posted 14 points and 8 rebounds in defeat for the Rabbits, who fell to 2-4.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Grady Thompson and Kevin Clark posted 15 points apiece on a combined 12-17 from the field as the Manti Templars stymied Morgan 63-50 Saturday at the Central Utah Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. The proficient Templars shot 56.4 percent from the field and 62.5 percent behind the arc with textbook execution throughout the game. Manti improved to 5-0 with the win while Morgan fell to 2-2. Carter Thackeray’s 20 points on 9-14 led the Trojans in the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Taylor Wood posted 14 points on 6-8 shooting as the Grantsville Cowboys bested South Sevier 55-41 Saturday during the Central Utah Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Taylor Wood had 14 points on 6-8 shooting for the Cowboys in the win as they improved to 2-3. Brandt Williams netted 14 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Rams, dropping them to 1-3.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Sam Orton’s 21 points and 14 rebounds led the way as the Kanab Cowboys improved to 5-0 on the season by besting the Monticello Buckaroos 56-46 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center during the Central Utah Preview. Clay Shakespear added 11 points and 9 rebounds and Nathaniel “Hoss” Houston stepped up with 11 points and 5 boards for the Cowboys. Cedar English netted 14 points and 6 rebounds on 7-13 shooting in defeat for the Buckaroos as they fell to 0-3.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Tyler Mason netted 13 points and 4 rebounds on 3-6 from the field and 5-6 at the foul line as the Juab Wasps routed Providence Hall 67-46 Saturday during the Central Utah Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Treyson Langford added 13 points on 5-7 from the field for the Wasps, who improved to 2-3 on the season. Dustin Mortensen had 16 points on 5-10 from the field for the Patriots in the loss, dropping them to 1-4.
Bear River Winter Classic
GARLAND, Utah-Mark Huber’s 15 points led the way as the Bear River Bears routed North Sanpete 65-45 at the Bear River Winter Classic Saturday. Landon Bowles paced the Hawks in the loss with 11 points.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Treyson Roberts posted 26 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs downed Piute 71-62 Saturday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Kelby Jessen had 23 points for the Thunderbirds in the loss.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Ryker Hatch’s 13 points led the Panguitch Bobcats to a 60-37 rout of Wayne in Region 20 boys basketball action Saturday.
Buffalo Classic
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Ricky Bullock netted 24 points and the Valley Buffaloes pounded Monument Valley 87-47 Saturday at the Buffalo Classic at Valley High School. Dekyio June had 13 points in the loss for the Cougars.
Prolook Shootout
OREM, Utah-Mike Saunders posted 25 points and Richards Isaacs Jr. added 24 more as the Wasatch Academy Tigers outlasted the Rocky Mountain (Colo.) Lobos 96-94 in double overtime Saturday at Orem High School as part of the Prolook Shootout.
Non-Region
MILFORD, Utah-Paul McSlarrow’s 17 points led the way as the Waterford Ravens smacked the Milford Tigers 59-42 Saturday in non-region boys basketball action. Zach Sherwood’s 20 points led Milford in the loss.

Cowboy Classic
KANAB, Utah-The Pine View Panthers bested North Sevier 45-35 Saturday at the Cowboy Classic at Kanab High School.
KANAB, Utah-Kenzie Jones amassed 14 points and the South Sevier Rams edged Kanab 42-41 at Kanab High School at the Cowboy Classic. Grayce Glover had 18 points in the loss for Kanab.
Desert Hills Holiday Classic
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Jarica Steck netted 16 points and the Richfield Wildcats smacked the Box Elder Bees 39-26 Saturday at the Desert Hills Holiday Classic. Ashlyn Reeder had 11 points in the loss for the Bees.
Dixie Border Classic
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Jasmin Rangel’s 12 points led the Manti Templars in a 58-50 loss to the Legacy (Nev.) Longhorns at the Dixie Border Classic Saturday at Dixie High School.

VERNAL, Utah-The Millard Eagles smacked Union 44-26 Saturday at Uintah High School at the Shannon Johnson Tournament.
