MT. PLEASANT, Utah-James Clayton stepped up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and the North Sanpete Hawks got past Class 4A Cedar 55-51 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Owen Ryan recorded 9 points and 5 rebounds on 4-7 from the field in the loss for the Reds. Following Friday’s results, the Hawks improved to 3-3 and the Reds slumped to 2-4.
HILDALE, Utah-Derk Memmott netted 23 points and the Millard Eagles routed Water Canyon 74-44 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Dynote Blackmore led the Wildcats with 21 points in the loss.
SANDY, Utah-Brody Bulloch led the way with 19 points and the North Sevier Wolves gashed Waterford 49-40 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Camden Judd and Solomon Foster had 11 points apiece in the loss for the Ravens.
BLANDING, Utah-George McNaughtan netted 13 points and the San Juan Broncos dismantled Panguitch 46-29 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Trenton Virga led the Bobcats in defeat with 10 points.
