CEDAR CITY, Utah-Emilio Miramontes posted 18 points and the South Sevier Rams got past Emery 64-54 at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic Thursday at Canyon View High School. Brett Rasmussen led the Spartans with 17 points in defeat.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Hunter Rhodes netted 30 points and the Millard Eagles waxed Canyon View 72-63 at Canyon View High School Thursday at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic. Andrew Barnes led the Falcons in the loss with 17 points.
Smithfield Classic
BEAVER, Utah-The Providence Hall Patriots edged Beaver 38-35 Thurday at the Smithfield Classic at Beaver High School. Cobe Carter had 13 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Beavers.
MILFORD, Utah-Hayden Brunson posted 19 points and the Tintic Miners edged Milford 49-44 at Milford High School Thursday at Milford High School. Treyton Rose posted 16 points for the Tigers in the loss.
Cowboy Classic
KANAB, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats outlasted Kanab 63-54 Thursday at the Cowboy Classic in Kanab. Jordan Cornell scored 20 points in the loss for the Cowboys.
KANAB, Utah-Brooks Dalton scored 22 points and the Piute Thunderbirds steamrolled North Sevier 73-39 at the Cowboy Classic in Kanab. Kyson Bosshardt scored 14 points in the loss for the Wolves.
Eagle Holiday Classic
DRAPER, Utah-Julian Mahoe scored 27 points and the Tooele Buffaloes beat Juab 70-63 Thursday at Juan Diego High School. Justin Christensen and Cameron Bailey each scored 14 points for the Wasps in the loss.

MURRAY, Utah-McCoy Harris led the way with 26 points and the Valley Buffaloes bested Mount Vernon 65-57 Thursday in non-region boys basketball action. Ketu Achebo’s 20 points and 9 rebounds led the Patriots in the loss.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-JaLeana Tsosie scored 21 points and the Milford Tigers outlasted Valley 52-49 in Region 20 girls basketball action Thursday. Jannie Hoyt scored a game-high 30 points in the loss for the Buffaloes.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jill Lungren and Kaylee Headrick posted 20 points apiece and the Class 6A Westlake Thunder stormed past South Sevier 67-34 at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic Thursday at Canyon View High School. Hayzen Taylor’s 12 points led the Rams in defeat.

BICKNELL, Utah-Abbie Rhoades led the way with 20 points and the Tabiona Tigers bested Wayne 50-39 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Hali Peterson’s 13 points and 5 rebounds led the Badgers in the loss.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Nicole Willardson amassed 31 points and the Richfield Wildcats gashed Snow Canyon 56-43 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Olivia Hamlin led the Warriors in defeat with 23 points.
DELTA, Utah-Braylee Peterson stepped up with 16 points and the Cedar City Lady Reds humbled Delta 48-41 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play at the Palladium. Ashlynd Hunt had 18 points in the loss for the Rabbits.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Noah Moyle scored 15 points and the Enterprise Wolves beat Bryce Valley 38-32 Thursday in non-region girls basketball action. Amanda Chynoweth scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs in the loss.
