SALINA, Utah-Burke Mickelsen’s 13 points and 7 rebounds led the way, but it wasn’t enough as the Beaver Beavers edged North Sevier 44-43 in Region 18 boys basketball action Wednesday.
DELTA, Utah-Derek Smith amassed 35 points, including eight 3-pointers and the Delta Rabbits clobbered Carbon 65-45 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action at the Palladium. Jordan Vasquez netted 20 points in the loss for the Dinos.
BICKNELL, Utah-Jace Eyre stepped up with 22 points and the Panguitch Bobcats shellacked Wayne 59-27 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Garrett Chappell had 10 points in the loss for the Badgers.
GUNNISON, Utah-Parx Bartholomew posted 23 points and the Gunnison Bulldogs got past Parowan 59-50 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball action. Porter Wood had 21 points and 9 boards in the loss for the Rams.
MANTI, Utah-Tanner Rasmussen netted 23 points and the Manti Templars got past South Summit 68-65 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Kael Atkinson’s 20 points led the Wildcats in defeat.
FILLMORE, Utah-Jaxon Wardle netted 15 points and the Millard Eagles got past Kanab 72-68 in Region 18 boys basketball action Wednesday. Parker Collins had 17 points for the Cowboys in the loss.

ENTERPRISE, Utah-Jessica Holt amassed 20 points as the Enterprise Wolves gashed South Sevier 53-44 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball action. Kenzie Jones posted 15 points for the Rams in the loss.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Jordyn Kennedy stepped up with 14 points and the Piute Thunderbirds surged past Milford 55-41 at the Enterprise Blue and Gold Tournament Wednesday at Enterprise High School. Elena Yee’s 14 points led the Tigers in defeat.
