(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s governor and the heads of the Senate and House are investigating a state Supreme Court justice. The probe is looking at whether Diana Hagen had an inappropriate relationship with a lawyer who argued a case before the high court. They’re looking into allegations that are part of a complaint first reported by KSL. Hagen has previously denied that she had an inappropriate relationship with that lawyer. An investigation by the Judicial Conduct Commission ended with no action being taken. A joint statement by Governor Spencer Cox and the legislative leaders says the investigation “left important questions unresolved”.
