RICHFIELD, Utah-Emmitt Hinck had 18 points and the Richfield Wildcats pounded Hurricane 64-41 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. T.J. Minor’s 8 points led the Tigers in the loss.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Kael Myers led the way with 18 points and the Millard Eagles edged Panguitch 37-35 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Riley Certonio had 9 points in defeat for the Bobcats.
BEAVER, Utah-Crayton Hollingshead amassed 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Beaver Beavers clobbered North Sevier 54-29 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Burke Mickelsen had 11 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Wolves.
MONROE, Utah-Brennen Hunt netted 17 points and 6 rebounds for the South Sevier Rams as they bested Parowan 47-37 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Krue Stubbs’ 12 points led the Parowan Rams in defeat.
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-Conner Christiansen posted 14 points on 6-8 from the field and Jordan Blauer netted 14 points on 5-7 from the field as the Manti Templars overpowered Juab 62-51 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Kevin Clark added 13 points for the 8-0 Templars, who shot 54.8 percent for the game and 63.6 percent from the field in the second half.
Kai Taylor had 16 points on 6-8 from the field in the loss for the Wasps, as they fell to 2-6 on the season.
This is the second time in the past five games that Taylor has been the Wasps’ leading scorer when coming off the bench, as he did so in a 53-50 loss to Morgan December 6 as well.
DELTA, Utah-Derek Smith netted 29 points as the Delta Rabbits routed ALA 63-45 in Region 14 boys basketball action Wednesday. Jonah Larsen’s 14 points led the Eagles in the loss.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Trevin Morley’s 12 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds led the North Sanpete Hawks in a 62-57 win over Maeser Prep Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Hugh Jackson had a game-high 25 points in the loss for the Lions.

BICKNELL, Utah-Quadyn Tebbs stepped up with 16 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs downed Wayne 55-48 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday. Schade Torgerson had 15 points in the loss for the Badgers.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Gavin Hoyt led the way with 22 points as the Valley Buffaloes smacked Milford 64-41 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Zach Sherwood’s 17 points led the Tigers in defeat.

HILDALE, Utah-Melissa Jessop stepped up with 23 points as the Water Canyon Wildcats downed Wayne 55-50 in Region 20 girls basketball action Wednesday. Hannah Williams led the Badgers in the loss with 21 points.

NEPHI, Utah-The Juab Wasps knocked off Payson 41-31 in a non-region dual Wednesday. Juab earned the win behind five pins from Channing Warner, Will Harmon, Blake Mangelson, Shan Jackson, and Kaden Ercanbrack. The big match of the night was at 132 pounds where No. 1 Conner Ingram for the Wasps beat No. 6 Wyatt Hone 6-4.
GUNNISON, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats topped Gunnison Valley 45-36 in a non-region dual that had 13 pins Wednesday. Richfield got pins from: Dayson Torgerson, Garrin Lord, Denim Torgerson, Ryker Ogden, Jaren Marquardson, Damian Rock, and Cameron Hyde. The Bulldog wrestlers that earned pins were: Tezlin Winn, Nahum Orozco, Talon Belnap, Kolby Winters, Carson Peterson, and Bridger Stevens.
GUNNISON, Utah-In the second dual of the night for the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs they beat Milford 66-18 in a non-region dual Wednesday. Six wrestlers earned pins for the Bulldogs with Nate Stewart, Ryan Stewart, Jace Clark, Kaylob Olsen, Will Wescott, and Carson Petersen. The Tigers had three pins in the loss, getting wins from Laven Weaver, Calvin Holm, and Russell Walker.
