PANGUITCH, Utah-Kyler Bennett led the way with 23 points and the Panguitch Bobcats edged Valley 48-43 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday. McCoy Harris had 20 points in defeat for the Buffaloes.
Non-Region
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah-Wade Hymas netted 31 points and 9 rebounds on 13-22 from the field and the APA West Valley Eagles soared past Gunnison Valley 67-56 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday.
The Eagles shot 51 percent (29-57) from the field in improving to 2-1 on the season. In the second all-time meeting between the programs, APA West Valley secured their first all-time win in the series.
Jon Willden posted 15 points and 6 rebounds and Jack Hansen added 15 points and 4 rebounds in 7-11 from the field for the Bulldogs, who fell to 2-2 on the season in the loss.
APA West Valley next competes in the Wendover Tournament and the Bulldogs next host 1A power Piute December 8 at 7:00 pm as they seek to snap their 2-game losing streak.
MILFORD, Utah-Corbyn Dalton led the way with 19 points and the Milford Tigers routed Freedom Prep 72-33 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Ian Cutler’s 16 points led the Eagles in the loss.
PRICE, Utah-Ridge Tebbs scored 16 points and the South Sevier Rams drilled Carbon 63-46 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Chet Anderson’s 15 points and 5 rebounds led the Dinos in the loss.
NEPHI, Utah-Luke Justice posted 17 points and the Emery Spartans waxed Juab 46-33 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Carter Lynn and Justin Christensen had 8 points apiece in the loss for the Wasps.
FILLMORE, Utah-Hunter Rhodes amassed 23 points and 6 assists and the Millard Eagles surged past Beaver 70-56 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Conner Crum’s 20 points and 8 rebounds led the Beavers in the loss.
DELTA, Utah-Connor Holroyd stepped up with 17 points and the Richfield Wildcats hammered Delta 54-34 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play at the Palladium. Cai Henderson led the Rabbits in defeat with 11 points.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Braylee Peterson amassed 18 points and 6 steals as the Cedar City Lady Reds bludgeoned North Sanpete 61-31 Wednesday in non-region girls basketbal action. Tylee Henrie led the Hawks with 17 points in the loss.
