ST. GEORGE, Utah-JJ Serre’s 18 points led the way and the Wasatch Wasps bested Richfield 67-60 at the Desert Hills Tournament Friday at Desert Hills High School. Jorgen Southwick led the Wildcats in defeat with a game-high 23 points.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Dylan Luke posted 18 points on 8-14 from the floor and the Snow Canyon Warriors overpowered Manti 65-48 Friday at The Coach Walker Classic at Pine View High School.

GUNNISON, Utah-Tate Stubbs led the way with 16 points and 7 rebounds and the Parowan Rams edged Gunnison Valley 49-47 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Landry Edwards’ 14 points led the Bulldogs in the loss. The Rams improved to 1-0 and Gunnison Valley fell to 1-1.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Trenton Virga netted 14 points and the Panguitch Bobcats smoked El Capitan (Ariz.) 72-54 in non-region boys basketball play Friday.
BEAVER, Utah-Jaren Webb led the way with 12 points and the Beaver Beavers drilled Water Canyon 62-46 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Dynote Blackmore’s game-high 16 points led the Wildcats in the loss.
TABIONA, Utah-Brodee Montague stepped up with 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds overpowered Tabiona 48-36 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Rocky Rhoades’ game-high 23 points led the Tigers in defeat.
MONROE, Utah-Brody Bulloch posted 28 points and the North Sevier Wolves edged South Sevier 62-59 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Raidon Barney led the Rams in the loss with 17 points.

DRAPER, Utah-Niella Sebit posted 25 points and the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle clipped Juab 47-42 Friday in non-region girls basketball play.
TABIONA, Utah-Maecie Hagman led the way with 14 points and the Tabiona Tigers routed Piute 47-27 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Kenadi King’s game-high 15 points led the Thunderbirds in the loss.
