1A State Championship @ Eccles Coliseum

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Hayden Gubler recorded 136 all-purpose yards and added a scoring run as the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys overpowered No. 2 Beaver 24-13 Friday to win the 1A state championship game at Eccles Coliseum on the campus of Southern Utah University. Degan Swapp also ran for a score and Kyle Brown added a scoring reception from Brogun Virostko in the win for Kanab. Davin Orton ran for 96 yards and a score and Emmet Lurth hauled in 8 receptions for 134 yards for the Beavers in defeat. Kanab has now won 10 state championships in football:

1974, 1976, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1994, 2005, 2007, 2025.
