ST. GEORGE, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Tabiona 10-0 Saturday in the 1-A state baseball semifinals at Snow Canyon High School. The Bobcats will play Piute for the 1-A state title Monday at 4:00 pm at Snow Canyon High School.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds dismantled Bryce Valley 6-1 Saturday at Snow Canyon High School in the 1-A state baseball semifinals.
1-A 3rd-4th Place Game
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Jaxon Brinkerhoff and Joel Romo each drove in a run and the Bryce Valley Mustangs secured 3rd place at the 1-A state tournament by prevailing 2-0 over Tabiona in the 1-A state 3rd-4th place game. Romo also posted 13 strikeouts in victory for the Mustangs.

3-A 1st Round
ROOSEVELT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks outlasted Union 3-2 on penalty kicks Saturday in the first round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs. Adelay Stavros scored in victory for the Hawks. Abrianna Chiara had a goal in defeat for the Cougars. The No. 17 seeded Hawks visit No. 1 seed Morgan Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-Baylee Lowder amassed a hat trick and the Grantsville Lady Cowboys clobbered Layton Christian 8-0 Saturday in the first round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs. Adalyn Enslen earned the shutout for Grantsville. The No. 13 seeded Lady Cowboys next visit No. 4 seed Real Salt Lake Academy Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
DELTA, Utah-Meg Nielson posted a hat trick and the Delta Rabbits pounded Emery 7-0 in the first round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs Saturday. Kate Smith, Libby Finlinson, Muren Clark and Caitlin Allred also scored in the rout for the Rabbits. Camrynn Zufelt earned the shutout for the Rabbits. The No. 12 seeded Rabbits next visit No. 5 Manti Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
MOAB, Utah-The South Summit Wildcats doubled up Grand 2-1 Saturday in the first round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs. The No. 19-seeded Wildcats square off against No. 3 Ogden in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
