CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jaxon Jensen completed 31 of 47 passes for 409 yards and three scores and the Canyon View Falcons overpowered Richfield 21-7 Friday in 3A South action.
Jensen’s key targets were Andrew Barnes (11 rec, 153 yards, 2 TD’s) and Nick Macias (8 rec, 135 yards, TD) on the evening as Canyon View improved to 6-3 and 3-1 in 3A South play.
The Falcons outgained the Wildcats 424-239 as Richfield fell to 5-3 and 1-3 in 3A South play with the loss.
Emery Thorson ran for a score in the loss for Richfield.
Canyon View concludes the regular season Thursday by hosting Carbon for Senior Night.
Richfield concludes the regular season Wednesday by visiting North Sanpete.
PRICE, Utah-Alex Jackson tossed seven touchdown passes and the Juab Wasps decimated Carbon 51-0 Friday in 3A South football play, spoiling Senior Night for the Dinos. The Wasps added a safety in the rout.
MANTI, Utah-PJ Cook ran for two scores, including a touchdown in overtime as the North Sanpete Hawks outlasted Manti 20-19 in 3A South football play Friday. Kayson Douglas threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Frischknecht in overtime for the Templars but the PAT failed as the Hawks came through with a key victory.
2A South
DELTA, Utah-Cam Skeem threw three touchdown passes and the Delta Rabbits pounded Grand 61-7 Friday in 2A South play. Skeem, Cameron Smith, Ryder Rogers and Kadance Lovell added touchdown runs for the Rabbits in victory. Brock Rowley (35-yard pick six) and Roper Crane (60-yard punt return) also scored for Delta in the win.
MONROE, Utah-Sam Rasmussen threw a 46-yard touchdown pass to Luke DeGraffenreid and the Millard Eagles outlasted South Sevier 21-18 Friday in 2A South play. Rasmussen threw another touchdown pass to Conner Hem and also ran for a score in the win for the Eagles. Carter Abraham ran for a score and added a 60-yard pick six for South Sevier. Trenton Garrett also contributed a 24-yard field goal in the loss for the Rams.
BLANDING, Utah-Parker Snyder’s four touchdown passes led the way and the San Juan Broncos surged past Beaver 35-27 in 2A South play Friday. Tate Gale had two touchdown runs in the loss for the Beavers.

HILDALE, Utah-The Kanab Cowboys built a 40-0 lead at halftime and cruised to a 46-14 rout of Water Canyon in 1A South football play Friday.
1A North
SALINA, Utah-Parker Crum threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score as the Duchesne Eagles clobbered North Sevier 52-0 Friday in 1A North play.

MILFORD, Utah-Bo Hardy ran 85 yards for a score and returned a kickoff 91 yards for another touchdown as the Milford Tigers gashed North Summit 28-13 in non-region football play Friday.

1A State Semifinals @ Snow Canyon High School
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats doubled up No. 5 Wayne 2-1 in the 1A state baseball semifinals Friday at Snow Canyon High School. The Bobcats will next face No. 2 Piute today at 12:30 pm for the 1A state championship. Wayne will face No. 3 Bryce Valley for 3rd place this morning at 10:00 am at Snow Canyon High School. Jake Peterson had an RBI to pace the Badgers in the loss.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The No. 2 Piute Thunderbirds got past No. 3 Bryce Valley 2-1 Friday in the 1A state baseball semifinals at Snow Canyon High School. Kevin Palafox drove in a run in defeat for the Mustangs.

RICHFIELD, Utah-The Manti Templars waxed Class 4A Pine View 3-1 Friday at the SVC Tournament. The Templars bested the Panthers 25-18, 20-25, 25-15, 25-21.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats outlasted San Juan 3-2 at the SVC Tournament Friday. The Wildcats gashed the Broncos 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 19-25, 15-7.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Grantsville Lady Cowboys lassoed North Sanpete 3-1 Friday at the SVC Tournament.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves humbled Emery 3-1 Friday at the SVC Tournament. The Wolves bested the Spartans 25-23, 15-25, 25-19, 25-17.
