3A South

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Carter Mason threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score and the Manti Templars pummeled North Sanpete 35-14 in 3A South football play Friday. Tala Taulapapa ran for two more scores in victory for the Templars. Maddox Madsen threw two touchdown passes in the loss for the Hawks.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Price Armstrong threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Payton Myers in the closing moments and the Juab Wasps outlasted Richfield 35-31 Friday in 3A South football play. Armstrong threw another touchdown pass to Ronnie Parsons and Brock Richards ran for three scores in victory for the Wasps. Cordon White threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Wildcats. Colton White also ran for a score and caught a touchdown pass in defeat for Richfield.

2A South

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Bridger Bradshaw threw three touchdown passes and the South Sevier Rams smoked Emery 41-21 in 2A South football play Friday. Masen Healey ran for two more scores in victory for South Sevier. Trygg Jensen threw two touchdown passes in defeat for the Spartans.

1A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Bridger Blackner and Dub Pender each ran for a pair of scores and the Beaver Beavers smacked Parowan 55-14 Friday in 1A South football play. Davin Orton also ran for a score and threw a touchdown pass in victory for the Beavers. Leonardo De Leon and Trey Bradshaw also ran for scores in the win for the Beavers. Hunter Bettridge threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score in the loss for the Rams.

KANAB, Utah-Hayden Gubler, Degan Swapp and Kolton Blomquist each ran for a pair of scores and the Kanab Cowboys hammered Enterprise 64-12 in 1A South football play Friday. Kannon Virostko threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score and Grady Anderson ran 57 yards for another touchdown in victory for the Cowboys. Jack Moyle threw a touchdown pass in the loss for the Wolves.

1A North

DUCHESNE, Utah-Nashden Goodliffe ran for five scores and Duchesne hammered Millard 48-14 Friday in the 1A North battle of the blue and silver Eagles. Connor Stevens had scoring runs of 10 and 30 yards in defeat for the Millard Eagles.

COALVILLE, Utah-Cru Richins threw three touchdown passes and the North Summit Braves clobbered North Sevier 54-15 in 1A North football play Friday. Brody Bulloch caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from Houston Mickelsen and returned a kickoff 85 yards for another score in defeat for the Wolves.

HILDALE, Utah-Carson Cheney threw five touchdown passes and the Milford Tigers pounded Water Canyon 65-0 Friday in Eight-Player football play. Haze Marshall ran for a score and returned an interception for another touchdown in victory for Milford. Tayon Blackburn and Tyce Barnes also scored in victory for Milford.

DELTA, Utah-Jett Rawlinson ran for 232 yards and four scores on 19 carries (12.2 yards per carry) and the Delta Rabbits blanked Carbon 28-0 Friday in non-region football play to give the Rabbits a successful Senior Day and their first win of the season.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Traiger Ramsay and Kaden Bailey drove in three runs apiece and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats hammered No. 16 Merit 30-0 Friday in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs. Panguitch next faces No. 8 Tintic Tuesday at 1:30 pm in the second round of the state tournament at Maple Mountain High School.

EUREKA, Utah-Braylon Jones drove in five runs and the No. 8 Tintic Miners overpowered No. 9 Pinnacle 16-3 in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs Friday. Domonick Huitt drove in a run in defeat for the Panthers.

JUNCTION, Utah-Julian Mar drove in four runs and the No. 4 Piute Thunderbirds waxed No. 13 Maeser Prep 15-2 Friday in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs. Brodee Montague netted eight strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Piute. Jonny Mitchell and Tom Jackson each drove in a run for the Lions in the loss. Piute next faces No. 5 Altamont Tuesday at 3:45 pm in the second round of the state playoffs at Maple Mountain High School.

ALTAMONT, Utah-Gage Bird, Levi Scott, Parker Harrison, Dominic Jackson, Asa Fisher and Trayson Young drove in two runs apiece and the No. 5 Altamont Longhorns pounded No. 12 Utah Military Hill Field 17-1 in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs Friday. Colt Duncan netted five strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Longhorns.

TROPIC, Utah-Rodolfo Perez drove in three runs and the No. 2 Bryce Valley Mustangs routed No. 15 Utah Military Camp Williams 16-1 Friday in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs. Brace Syrett netted four strikeouts in two innings to earn the win on the mound for Bryce Valley. The Mustangs next face No. 10 Wayne Tuesday at 9:00 am in the second round of the state playoffs at Maple Mountain High School.

DRAPER, Utah-Blake Peterson homered twice and Hunter Robins also went yard as the No. 10 Wayne Badgers pounded No. 7 Draper APA 21-0 in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs Friday. Ethan Beecher netted five strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Badgers.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Justin Baird drove in two runs and the No. 3 Valley Buffalos bested No. 14 Green River 5-3 Friday in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs. David Mendez drove in a run in the loss for the Pirates. Valley next faces No. 6 Intermountain Christian Tuesday at 11:15 am in the second round of the state playoffs at Maple Mountain High School.

SALT LAKE CITY-David Reist drove in three runs and the No. 6 Intermountain Christian Lions humbled No. 11 American Heritage 11-6 in the first round of the 1A state baseball playoffs Friday. Coy White netted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Lions. Henry Allred, Isaac Holmes and Justin Robertson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Patriots.
