MANTI, Utah-Carter Mason threw four touchdown passes to Stone Mortensen and ran for another score and the Manti Templars smoked Canyon View 38-17 in 3A South football play Thursday. Ryder Miller threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Falcons. Tyler Steinfeldt also made a 43-yard field goal in victory for the Templars.

1A South

BEAVER, Utah-Davin Orton threw two touchdown passes and the Beaver Beavers pummeled Enterprise 55-20 Thursday in 1A South football play. Bridger Blackner ran for two more scores in the win for Beaver and Trey Bradshaw and Noah Wolff added a scoring run apiece while Wolff also caught a touchdown pass in the rout for the Beavers. Jack Moyle threw two touchdown passes in the loss for the Wolves.

Non-Region

DRAPER, Utah-Trey Yardley ran for a pair of scores and the Richfield Wildcats overpowered Juan Diego 45-34 Thursday in non-region football play. Colton White, Cordon White and Ngalu Taufatofua also added a touchdown run apiece in the win for Richfield. One Vea ran for two scores in defeat for the Soaring Eagle.

NEPHI, Utah-Hadlee Pickup netted eight kills and the Uintah Utes blanked Juab 3-0 in non-region girls volleyball play Thursday. The Utes overpowered the Wasps 25-21, 25-20, 25-17 to prevail in straight sets.
