PRICE, Utah-Bodie Payne ran for a pair of scores and the South Sevier Rams routed Carbon 33-6 Wednesday in Region 12 football action. Parker Brian and Jaxin Torgerson also ran for scores in the win for the Rams with Spencer Garrett adding a 20-yard field goal in victory for South Sevier.
Region 14
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Bodee Blackett had a 3-yard touchdown reception and added a 28-yard scoring run as the Juab Wasps pounded American Leadership 54-28 in Region 14 football action Wednesday. Shan Jackson (10 yards) and Trey Lund (4 yards) added touchdown runs for the Wasps and Dominic Davidson contributed with a 19-yard fumble recovery for a score for Juab. Ryker Richards added field goals of 38 and 43 yards for the Wasps and Luke Ivers threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to Jared Dye in the win for Juab.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Tyler Allan threw five touchdown passes and the North Sanpete Hawks drilled Union 41-14 Wednesday in Region 14 football action. Brady Jacobson added a 14-yard touchdown pass to Beau Jacobson in the win for the Hawks.
Non-Region
COALVILLE, Utah-Michael Warino ran 25 yards for a score and the Kanab Cowboys doubled up North Summit 6-3 in non-region football action Wednesday. Carsen McKnight had a 44-yard field goal in the loss for the Braves.
Girls Soccer
2-A First Round
OGDEN, Utah-Ellen Rickerd and Sam Munson had two goals apiece and the St. Joseph Jayhawks blanked Gunnison Valley 8-0 Wednesday in the first round of the 2-A girls soccer playoffs. Kenzie Munson earned the shutout in victory for St. Joseph. The Jayhawks next visit No. 3 seed Millard Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
BEAVER, Utah-Sam Atkin scored twice and Ashton Bowles and Mia Harris also added goals as the Beaver Beavers waxed North Summit 6-3 in the first round of the 2-A girls soccer playoffs Wednesday. Beaver next visits No. 2 seed Real Salt Lake Academy in the state quarterfinals Saturday at 1:00 pm.
3-A Second Round
MANTI, Utah-Ally Squire amassed a hat trick and the Manti Templars blanked Grand 7-0 Wednesday in the second round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs. Alivya Osborn, Breanne Wayman, Kassidy Alder and Katelyn Crouch also scored in the rout for Manti. Katie Larsen posted the shutout for the Templars. Manti next hosts No. 8 Grantsville Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Maeser Prep Lions outlasted Richfield 5-4 on penalty kicks following regulation to down the Wildcats in the second round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs Wednesday. The Lions next face No. 4 seed Juab in the state quarterfinals Saturday at 1:00 pm.
DELTA, Utah-Savannah Nielson posted a hat trick as the Delta Rabbits pounded Summit Academy 7-0 Wednesday in the second round of the 3-A girls soccer playoffs. Kate Smith added two more goals for Delta with Adi Nielson and Quincee Allred also scoring for the Rabbits. Rylee Callister posted the shutout for Delta. The Rabbits next visit No. 3 seed Judge Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.

Volleyball
Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats overpowered South Sevier 3-1 in Region 12 volleyball action Wednesday. The Wildcats prevailed 28-26, 23-25, 25-18 and 25-19 to earn the region title.
Region 18
BEAVER, Utah-The Enterprise Wolves gashed Beaver 3-0 Wednesday in Region 18 volleyball action. The Wolves downed the Beavers 25-22, 25-10 and 25-13 to take the title.
Region 20
PANGUITCH, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats downed Valley 3-2 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball action.
ESCALANTE, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds bested Escalante 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball action Wednesday.
BICKNELL, Utah-The Milford Tigers stormed past Wayne 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball action. The Tigers humbled the Badgers 25-20, 25-22 and 25-13 for the win.
