RICHFIELD, Utah-Hayden Harward posted 18 points on 6-9 behind the arc and Joshua Thalman posted 18 points and 8 rebounds on 7-14 shooting as the Richfield Wildcats routed Emery 58-36 Wednesday in Region 12 boys basketball action. The Wildcats improved to 8-3 and 1-0 in Region 12 play as this was the region opener for both squads. Brax Jensen had 13 points in the loss for the Spartans, as they fell to 7-3 on the season and 0-1 in the region opener.
MONROE, Utah-Brandt Williams netted 27 points and 11 rebounds as the South Sevier Rams pounded Carbon 74-46 in Region 12 boys basketball action Wednesday. Kaleb Nelson’s 17 points led the Dinos in the loss.
Region 14
DELTA, Utah-Derek Smith led the way with 33 points as the Delta Rabbits gashed North Sanpete 58-40 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Dallon Steadman had 18 points in the loss for the Hawks.
NEPHI, Utah-Kollin Robertson stepped up with 15 points and the Juab Wasps pounded Union 77-45 in Region 14 boys basketball action Wednesday. Jaden Gardner’s 15 points led the Cougars in defeat.
Region 16
GUNNISON, Utah-Braxton Sylvester and Creed Mogle had 13 points apiece and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs edged Duchesne 57-53 Wednesday in Region 16 boys basketball action. Gavin Davis’ game-high 14 points paced the Eagles in the loss.
SALINA, Utah-Burke Mickelsen netted 19 points and the North Sevier Wolves outlasted Monticello 56-52 in overtime in Region 16 boys basketball action Wednesday. Dylan Bird led the Buckaroos in the loss with 21 points.
Region 18
KANAB, Utah-Nathaniel “Hoss” Houston amassed 16 points and 5 assists as the Kanab Cowboys stymied Beaver 47-36 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball action. Ky Brown posted 16 points for the Beavers in defeat.

HURRICANE, Utah-The Bryce Valley Mustangs waxed Diamond Ranch 75-61 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Ryker Hatch stepped up with 22 points as the Panguitch Bobcats achieved a 55-43 win over Milford in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Conner Chamberlain netted 14 points and the Valley Buffaloes got past Piute 52-46 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball action.

FILLMORE, Utah-Grady Thompson posted 24 points and the Manti Templars clobbered Millard 72-40 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Austin Burraston had 8 points in defeat for the Eagles.

PROVO, Utah-The Provo Bulldogs earned pins in the final two matches of the night to come from behind and beat Gunnison Valley 42-40 Wednesday in a non-region wrestling dual. Gunnison earned six pins in the loss from: Nate Stewart, Marcos Duran, Garrett Jensen, Will Wescott, Peyton Calvin, and Talon Belnap.
