Region 12
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Felps Sanders posted 18 points and the Canyon View Falcons humbled Delta 46-35 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Mason Robinson and Jaytn Brough had 8 points apiece for the Rabbits in the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Slate Reitz netted 13 points and the Richfield Wildcats gashed Juab 45-37 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Jay Rowley led the Wasps in defeat with 13 points.
MANTI, Utah-Dax Anderson recorded 26 points and the Manti Templars got past North Sanpete 74-68 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Ridge Hendry led the Hawks in the loss with 26 points and 9 rebounds.
Region 15
SALINA, Utah-Trevor Mangum rebounded his miss in the closing seconds for a score and the North Sevier Wolves outlasted Gunnison Valley 50-49 in Region 15 boys basketball play Friday.
Kade Johnson (19 points, 7 rebounds, 8-13 from the field) led the Wolves in victory. The Bulldogs were paced by Landry Edwards’ 12 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.
Following Friday’s results, the Wolves improved to 10-10 and 3-5 in Region 15 play while the Bulldogs fell to 9-10 and 3-5 in defeat.
Region 18
FILLMORE, Utah-Karson Stewart netted 16 points and the Millard Eagles bested Water Canyon 76-66 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Dynonte Blackmore’s game-high 21 points led the Wildcats in the loss.
KANAB, Utah-Cash Mortensen posted 21 points and the Kanab Cowboys routed Enterprise 77-55 in Region 18 boys basketball play Friday. Treyson Whitman and Jackson Hiatt had 11 points apiece in the loss for the Wolves.
Region 20
BICKNELL, Utah-Maddix Johnson netted 20 points and 5 rebounds and the Panguitch Bobcats smacked Wayne 70-45 Friday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Hunter Robins led the Badgers in the loss with 18 points.
Non-Region
OLJATO-MONUMENT VALLEY, Utah-Jaxen Cottam posted 29 points and the Escalante Moquis clobbered Monument Valley 89-48 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Aketcheta Shortman led the Cougars in the loss with 18 points.
Girls Basketball
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Kenadi King netted 19 points and the Piute Thunderbirds clobbered Milford 60-43 in Region 20 girls basketball play Friday. Hadley Griffiths led the Tigers in defeat with 13 points.
Non-Region
TROPIC, Utah-Grace Leech stepped up with 17 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs routed Monticello 53-35 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Maron Freestone led the Buckaroos in the loss with 13 points.
ESCALANTE, Utah-The Escalante Moquis smacked El Capitan (Ariz.) 56-37 Friday in non-region girls basketball play.
