MOAB, Utah-Masen Ward led the way with 24 points as the Grand Red Devils got past Manti 77-70 in Region 15 boys basketball action Saturday. Matt Nelson’s game-high 32 points in defeat led the Templars.
TROPIC, Utah-Easton Syrett netted 15 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs edged Valley 42-41 Saturday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Garrett Spencer led the Buffaloes in the loss with 16 points.
TAFT, Calif.-Matt Bradley stepped up with 22 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers pounded the Taft (Calif.) Wildcats 76-59 Saturday at the Rolling Hills Prep State Preview.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Bodell Nielson led the way with 24 points as the San Juan Broncos waxed North Sanpete 46-36 in Region 15 girls basketball action Saturday. Sarah Oldroyd had 9 points in defeat for the Hawks.
MANTI, Utah-Hannah Owen amassed 23 points and the Grand Red Devils bested Manti 62-50 Saturday in Region 15 girls basketball action. Kjerstin Birch’s 13 points led the Templars in defeat.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Olivia Jesse had 15 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers decimated APA West Valley 67-15 in Region 17 girls basketball action Saturday.
JUNCTION, Utah-Mickell Morgan’s 19 points led the Piute Thunderbirds in a 63-51 win over Manila Saturday in non-region girls basketball action. Aspen Collett netted 17 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Mustangs.
