CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jeter Sanders netted 26 points and 8 rebounds on 10-17 from the floor and the Canyon View Falcons overpowered Juab 67-46 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball play at The Nest. Madix Stowell’s 10 points and 5 rebounds on 5-10 from the floor led the Wasps in the loss. Canyon View shot 52 percent (25-48) from the floor on the night in victory.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Kobe Driggs netted 29 points and the Delta Rabbits dismantled Providence Hall 74-45 in Region 14 boys basketball play Wednesday. Dallas Loutensock led the Patriots in the loss with 17 points.

Region 15

GUNNISON, Utah-Braxton Pickett led the way with 16 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs got past South Summit 63-57 Wednesday in Region 15 boys basketball play. Maddox Welch led the Wildcats in the loss with 15 points.

SALINA, Utah-Connor Stevens netted 19 points and the Millard Eagles edged North Sevier 66-64 in Region 15 boys basketball play Wednesday. Kade Johnson’s game-high 21 points led the Wolves in the loss.

MANTI, Utah-Garrett Wayman’s 19 points led the way and the Richfield Wildcats got past Manti 62-57 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Adam Thomas led the Templars in the loss with 18 points.

Girls Basketball

Region 20

BICKNELL, Utah-AJ VanDyke posted 21 points and the Wayne Badgers clobbered Water Canyon 56-14 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Tammra Johnson led the Wildcats in the loss with 9 points.

ESCALANTE, Utah-Jaidyn McMullin stepped up with 14 points and the Milford Tigers edged Escalante 58-56 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday. Rylee Frei’s 12 points led the Moquis in defeat.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Tayt Miller netted 16 points and the Panguitch Bobcats decimated Bryce Valley 60-23 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Annabella Vasquez led the Mustangs in the loss with 11 points.
