MOAB, Utah-Cameron Hoppensteadt led the way with 21 points and Alex Williams added 20 more as the Grand Red Devils outlasted South Sevier 88-84 in double overtime in Region 15 boys basketball action Saturday. Caleb Barton netted a game-high 42 points and 9 rebounds while nailing seven 3-pointers for the Rams in the loss.
BICKNELL, Utah-Garrett Chappell posted 21 points and six assists as the Wayne Badgers got past Whitehorse 82-77 Saturday in Region 19 boys basketball action. Colby Taylor added 18 points and 9 boards in the win for the Badgers. Jaden Antsoise had a game-high 27 points in defeat for the Raiders.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-Matt Bradley netted 14 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers outlasted the Ozark (Mo.) Tigers 47-46 Saturdy at the Bass Pro Tournament in Springfield, Mo.

MONROE, Utah-Kenzie Jones led the way with 29 points and the South Sevier Rams hammered Grand 75-34 Saturday in Region 15 girls basketball action. Hannah Owen stepped up with 13 points for the Red Devils in defeat.
BICKNELL, Utah-Brynnli Nelson and Maloree Mitchell had 19 points apiece as the Wayne Badgers decimated Whitehore 72-26 in Region 19 girls basketbal action Saturday. Daan Filfred’s 7 points led the Raiders in defeat.
