Numerous Utah Collegians Named To Mountain West 25th Season Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Mountain West Conference, the Colorado Springs, Colo.-based league has announced its Top 25 men’s basketball players in conference history Wednesday.

BYU and Utah, previous members of the conference, and Utah State, present members of the MWC, all have representatives on the squad. They are as follows:

BYU

Center Rafael Araújo (2002-2004; 18.4 points, 10.1 rebounds per game)

Guard Jimmer Fredette (2007-2011; 18.7 points per game)

Utah

Forward Andrew Bogut (2003-2005; 16.6 points, 11.1 rebounds per game)

Utah State

Guard Sam Merrill (2016-2020; 16.8 points per game)

Center Neemias Queta (2018-2021; 14.9 points, 10.1 rebounds per game)
