DANIELS, W. Va.-As the NCAA Division II men’s golf championships continued Tuesday, Dixie State was bolstered by the efforts of a former Millard High star golfer at the Resort at Glade Springs.
Trailblazers senior Nicklaus Britt led Dixie State on the second day of competition by firing a bogey free 3-under 69 to finish the day tied for 11th on the player leaderboard at minus-2 142.
Stroke play concludes Wednesday as the Trailblazers, currently tied for eighth with Florida Southern, hope to advance to head-to-head match play.
The cutoff is the top eight overall teams.
